Why did Hoi An Historic Hotel implement the Smoke-Free Policy?
The majority of our guests prefer a non-smoking hotel environment. The only way to provide this experience is to prohibit smoking within the building. Therefore, we have applied this policy throughout all indoor areas of the hotel.
How will smokers be accommodated? Can they smoke on the property?
Although smoking is not permitted inside the hotel buildings, guests who smoke may do so in designated outdoor smoking areas.
What measures does Hoi An Historic Hotel take to enforce the Smoke-Free Policy?
The policy is integrated into our guest service and quality assurance processes. All associates are trained to respond appropriately to any potential violations.
Guests are reminded of the policy at the time of booking, upon arrival, and in pre-arrival communications.
A room recovery fee will be charged to guests who violate the policy, to cover the cost of restoring the room to a smoke-free condition.
